Friends,

As we move forward in these uncertain times, the importance of community, friendship, and care of both self and others is more vital than ever.  Many communities of faith are coming together for worship within the virtual space of the internet, and the Fort Collins Friends Meeting will be doing so as well.  Below are instructions for how to join remotely for Meeting for Worship.  Please reach out to the clerks at clerk@fortcollinsquakers.org with your questions, and we hope to have you join us as we travel this new path.

In peace,

Fort Collins Friends Meeting

How to Join Fort Collins Friends Online Meeting for Worship

Meeting will be held each Sunday from 10 am – 11 am at least as long as we are unable to congregate in large groups. Through the platform generously provided by Meditation Chapel (www.meditationchapel.org) you will able to join from any computer, tablet, or smart phone able to access the Internet.

Here is how it works:

  1. Go to https://meditationchapel.org/peace-chapel/ a few minutes prior to meeting time (if you are unfamiliar with Zoom, you may want to give yourself a bit more time).
  2. If you are using a computer and this is first time using the Zoom conference software, you will be asked to install a Zoom download on your computer. You will need to agree to this.If you wish to use a tablet or a phone, you will need to go to your apps store ahead of time and download the Zoom app.
  3. Click on the link that says Enter the Chapel. That will get you into our meeting room. Once in, you are and ready to participate!

  1. Double thanks to Dreamers who shop for shut-ins, bake delicious cookies and encourage city urchins like me to appreciate dirt (aka soil to the cognoscenti of the Earth).
